I have the nextel national power 1000minute plan (free incoming, unlimited direct connect, nights and weekends; $55 a month). I broke my phone a few months ago and so I've been using an older phone until I can get a new one. My contract is up in October so I was going to wait it out until then. I've been looking at new phones and plans and whatnot, and they don't have the plan that I have anymore. It's like over $100 for 1000 minutes now and basically totally different plans.
What will happen in October when I want to renew my contract? will I have to find a different plan?
I work for LJ and we are trying to get some Nextel users to try out the new TxtLJ feature we announced to paidmembers
Currently, you need a paid account to try the feature but comment here if you can help and I'll make sure you get access.
What does it mean if a phone is "Nextel branded" but it is locked? I already have a SIM card with all of my information on it, but I bought a brand new phone and didn't realize that it's "locked".
Hi, I have a question about the i930. Does anyone know how I can get ringtones I made off my memory card and into the phone? Thanks in advance.
I currently have the National Incoming 300 plan with nextel (I got it in December 2004 before the conversion) with a motorola i530 and I'm having some issues with my plan.
Basically, I recieve very few incoming calls, and I'm told by many people that they are rarely able to reach me on my cell and that it doesn't give a voice mail option, rather "the nextel subscriber is unavailiable... try back later" etc and I went through the loops with customer service today, again. Does anyone else have this problem?
Also, I'd like to appeal the $200 service termination fee and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried this and were successful?
Any info you can give me would be great, thanks!
I have a question about Nextel's network etc.
Currently my wife and I have Cingular and my in-laws have T-Mobile. My work supplied me with a Nextel i520 for work purposes. When I visit my in-laws I have no Cingular coverage, my in-laws barely have coverage through T-Mobile however my Nextel work phone has full signal strength.
Today my father in-law decide to go get Sprint phones, when he got them back the signal was no better than the T-Mobile or Cingular. I thought because Nextel and Sprint sort of merged they would share each others network, am I wrong ?
Then we decided to look at Nextel's website and the personal side says there is no coverage in our area. Yet the Business side says there is coverage. I'm guessing the business and personal are two different networks ?
I recently purchased a new cell phone and I am looking to (quickly) get rid of my old one.
I am selling a very lightly
used Motorola i850 on Ebay and I invite you to check out my auction

Does anyone know how much Nextel charges to cancel a plan? It's not up until next December.
